"…we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender… "
There are two main reasons for us to dedicate our time and assets to re-enactment.
We consider that the sacrifices made by those allied soldiers and resistance
fighters during WW2 have to be kept alive . It is our duty to prevent that from
being forgotten as we have inherited a world they fought for. That Brothers in
Arms spirit , courage, resilience , selfishness ,and love of freedom needs to be
remembered and passed on to younger generations.
The second reason can be summed up by a frase from Jorge Ruiz de Santayana ( Born Madrid 1863) Those who don't know history are doomed to repeat it.
A few years ago I had the immense privilege of meeting Henryk Kończykowski aka "Halicz”who fought during the Warsaw Uprising in 44. Seeing some of us dressed and equipped like those Armija Krajowa combatants he said word for word : “You are perpetuating our memory". At that very moment I have never felt so proud and justified, Halicz died that same year but I will never forget him.
I have had the occasion of meeting and shaking many veterans' hands during my visits to Normandy, Arhnem, Bastogne and so on. Their reaction is the same as Halicz's.
This is a nonpolitical Website dedicated to WW2 re-enactment only. We don't seek to promote Nazism, any totalitarian government nor revisionism. This website, anyone involved in its creation, or members of re-enactment groups listed here are in no way affiliated with real, radical political organizations and do not embrace the philosophies and actions of the original Nazi party nor any other totalitarian regime.
We wholeheartedly condemn and deplore all the atrocities committed during WW2 by Nazi Germany, its allies and any other totalitarian regime.
The sole purpose of the website is to promote our yearly WW2 reenactment event and display the photos taken. We are tremendously grateful to our fellow re-enactors and photographers who have participated in reenacting battles, displays and campsites.
We are also indebted to the different town councils who have given us a place for the vents to happen and support to make our dream come true.
